(Geol.), a line from which strata dip in
opposite directions, as from the ridge of a roof. -- Anticlinal
vertebra (Anat.), one of the dorsal vertebræ, which in many
animals has an upright spine toward which the spines of the neighboring vertebræ are inclined.
