(Chem.) Arsenic sesquisulphide, produced artificially as an amorphous lemonyellow powder, and occurring naturally as a yellow crystalline mineral; --
formerly called auripigment. It is used in king's yellow, in white Indian fire, and in certain technical
processes, as indigo printing.
